Gollings Bronze

Bill Ward with Bill Gollings Bronze

Bill and Carole Ward wanted to pay tribute to this great Wyoming artist so decided a bronze sculpture was the answer.  They wanted a Wyoming artist to do the work so Jerry Palen from Saratoga was approached and, of course, he was honored to be considered and was truly interested in the project. Approval was obtained from the State Building Commission and the Capital Complex Advisory Committee. It was recommended the Gollings bronze sculpture be placed on the northeast corner of the Wyoming Arts Council grounds, facing the capital of Wyoming.

There are four large Gollings paintings in the Wyoming State Capitol, two in the house chambers and two in the senate chambers.
